Description
The Hornell City School District is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill the position of Director of Bands for grades 7-12. The job includes teaching group lessons, directing the Junior High Concert Band and the High School Symphonic Band. Many extra curricular opportunities are available including HS Jazz Ensemble, basketball Pep Band, and non competitive Marching Band. Both concert bands have participated in NYSSMA Majors festivals in the past with ratings ranging from level 3 silver to level V Gold w/distinction.
Requirements
NYS Certification in Music Education.
