Position Overview Keshequa Central School is seeking a passionate and reflective Elementary Music Teacher to join our team and inspire a love of music in our PreK–4 students. This role includes general music instruction, vocal music, and introductory band. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters joy, confidence, and community through music. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging music instruction aligned with New York State Learning Standards for the Arts. Teach general music classes to elementary students (PreK–4) and 4th grade band. Incorporate singing, movement, instruments, and music technology into lessons. Organize and direct student performances (concerts, assemblies, special programs). Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and families. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and respect.
