Description
Position Summary: The Audio-Visual/Media Specialist, is a full-time, 12 month position. The Audio-Visual/Media Specialist is responsible for the operations of the media inventory for instructional purposes for the Webster Central School District. This position works collaboratively to support audio-visual needs during the instructional day and evening events. Essential Responsibilities: Reviews and recommends audio-visual resources to support instructional staff. Develops and maintains media materials for audio-visual presentation. Ensures all electronic software programs are functioning properly. Oversees scheduling and allocation of building audio visual equipment and materials. Maintains physical inventory, maintenance and organization of school audio visual/multimedia equipment and assets using a computer database software. Troubleshoots and resolves issues to ensure uninterrupted use in instructional settings. Sets up and manages audio and lighting equipment for meetings, events, and concerts during and after the instructional day.
