Starting September 2026, tenure position, NYS certification required in Music K-12. We are looking for a versatile, dedicated and innovative educator to join the music program. The full-time position includes 6-8 grade chorus, 5th grade general music class, and beginner lessons. They must possess proficient piano skills, understanding of vocal pedagogy and effective classroom management in the ensemble setting. The candidate will be committed to work as a team with our music staff and must hold NYS certification in Music K-12. The successful candidate will be expected to implement the curriculum for the appropriate position for the Spackenkill Union Free School District and to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned under contract agreement. Including some elementary instrumental lessons.
