Choral Director

Description

We have an immediate opening for a Choral Music Director. A community chorus with a 30 year history is seeking a director for a March 3, 2026 starting rehearsal. We have two concerts each year, one related to Christmas and one usually in May. Our rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at 7-9PM in East Greenbush, with two dress rehearsals Concert week, then a roughly 2 hour concert preceded by a warmup on a weekend. The pay is $45/hr, and we sing a variety of four part music in our concerts, based on a concert theme.

Requirements

A music degree or equivalent experience, a love of music, and the ability to work with a mixed chorus of adults who also have a love of music and vocal performances.
