Procedure
Students show their understanding of musical elements by using
creative movement.
• While listening to a recording (such as “Pudding and Popcorn"),
students use creative movement with scarves to show their
understanding of legato and staccato.

Suggested Assessment
Teacher observes students for long, smooth movements during
