Secondary String Leave

Description

The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess New York State certification in Music Education for an anticipated secondary string position in a vibrant community. Candidates with proficiency in string instruments - lower strings are preferred. Experience teaching secondary/middle school orchestra preferred: responsibilities include but are not limited to expertise in ensemble rehearsal and small group lessons. Candidates must demonstrate strong conducting skills, exceptional musicianship as well as be willing to participate in departmental, building, and district-wide collaborations. Candidates maintain excellent communication skills, and ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
