Our district has four elementary schools, a Middle School and a High School. The Suffern Central School located in the beautiful Hudson Valley 30 miles outside of New York City is seeking to hire a Teaching Assistant to assist with our Middle School music program. The successful candidate would be pushing into chorus, band, and orchestra lessons to assist the lead teacher with group instruction and rehearsals. This is a probationary appointment that begins February 2, 2026 (or before if possible). Requirements: Must have a valid NYS Certification in Music K-12. Bilingual preferred but not required. Proficiency in one or more instruments required, strong piano skills preferred. The Suffern Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
