Music Teacher – MS Vocal

The Guilderland Central School District is committed to seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to continue our tradition of excellence. We are now accepting applications to fill a full-time, probationary track middle school vocal music position. The position consists of teaching general music classes and directing and preparing a grade-level chorus for multiple concerts throughout the year. Knowledge of Music Learning Theory is a plus. We are looking for candidates who have; *Diverse backgrounds, educational interests, and experiences *Experience with teaching vocal/ general music & directing large choral ensembles *Positive attitude and passion for teaching *An adaptable and coachable mindset *Enthusiasm for the well-being and progress of children *Strong musicianship, communication, and organizational skills *High levels of cultural proficiency and a desire to ensure that ALL students are included and successful *Strong interest in working collaboratively as part of a team *Music K-12 Certification **Please be sure your major and instrument concentration are clearly noted on your resume.
