Whether it's guiding budding musicians at Perry Browne, leading sectional rehearsals, or preparing soloists for college auditions - this is more than a job. It's a calling. What You'll Do: Create engaging, inclusive, and responsive learning experiences across core subjects Collaborate with grade-level and specialist teams to plan and execute a guaranteed and viable curriculum Use data and professional feedback to drive your instruction and strengthen student outcomes Build relationships with students and families rooted in trust, respect, and high expectations Champion a classroom culture where effort, curiosity, kindness, and belonging thrive Contribute to a school community where teachers support teachers - because we rise together What We're Looking For: A teacher who thrives in a professional learning community and loves to grow Someone open to feedback and relentless in doing what's right for kids Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize relationships A New York State Certification in Music Education A great sense of humor, a growth mindset, and a deep belief in public education Why Norwich: We're a small district with a big heart and even bigger dreams.
