Description
The Scarsdale Union Free School District is seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative candidate for an elementary teaching position in instrumental band music. Scarsdale has five elementary schools spanning grades K-5. We offer rich and varied educational programs and are supported by an active and supportive parent community. Candidates must hold appropriate NY State Certification in Music (K-12) and have experience in elementary band music instruction. Knowledge of and background in beginning band pedagogy, repertoire, and performance are essential. Knowledge of and experience in elementary general music curriculum is beneficial.
