Choral Director

Description

Choral Director for a 4 part Community Chorus, singing in the Albany NY area. We have a 30 year history of performing mixed types of choral music, and normally rehearse and perform in East Greenbush, NY. We hold 2 hr rehearsals every Tuesday evening at 7-9PM, two dress rehearsals of roughly 2 hours during the week before our scheduled Concert, and perform two roughly 2.5 hour Concerts every year, one around Christmas, and one usually in April.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Music or equivalent experience, knowledge of choral music and knowledge to help singers with vocal techniques, and excellent communication, music instruction, and experience with SATB choirs.
