The CEW Music Group is seeking music teachers to join our Artist-in-Residence faculty. The CEWMG is a national organization that builds long-term relationships with educational institutions to provide public schools with quality music education programs. We provide general music curricula through specifically designed programs to accelerate students’ artistic development and to enable them to access many artistic opportunities within New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. As veteran music instructors, we assist our partners in the integration of the arts, infused with academia curricula to enhance learning in both areas. Our programs are scheduled in several modules of commitment of time, ranging from an 8-week program through an entire academic year. Artists-in-residence maintain daily schedules encompassed within their educational institution. Expectations of the CEW Artist-in-Residences include teaching provided lesson plans for instruction, managing student behavior to ensure a safe and structured classroom environment and ensuring a highly artistic experience. Artist-in-Residence will receive training as a part of new teacher orientation and may be invited to ongoing professional development and training sessions. Minimum Qualifications Applicants should possess at minimum, undergraduate degree BA in Music, Education, Music Education, or the equivalent of professional experience. A professional performing artist includes any styles of music within vocalists, pianists, any orchestral instrumentalists, African drumming, dance, and more. Please Note: All those interested will be invited to present a mock (demo) lesson specific to their discipline or share video submission of a lesson.
