Description
The Music Director will provide artistic leadership and achievement of vision, and will oversee development and implementation of a progressive program of choral music consistent with the mission statement, musical goals and objectives of the Catskill Choral Society. The Music Director will ensure that the choral program provides for ongoing education and improvement in choral skills and techniques. The major duties of the Director are to program and rehearse two concert cycles per year and to conduct the resulting concerts.
Requirements
A degree in music specializing in choral direction or experience equivalent to at least five years specifically directing choral groups is
required. A Masters Degree in choral conducting and minimum of 3-5 years conducting experience is preferred
