The Oswego City School District (OCSD) is seeking a highly qualified teacher for the Orchestra Director at Oswego High School. Long-regarded as a top music program, the OCSD is committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities in the arts. We are looking for a dedicated Orchestra Director to lead our ensembles, foster musical growth, and continue our tradition of excellence. Responsibilities: - Conduct and instruct the Oswego High School Orchestras. - Provide small group lessons and individualized string instruction. - Collaborate with the music department on district-wide performances and curriculum development. - Foster a positive, inclusive environment for student musicians of all skill levels. Requirements

Qualifications:
Valid NYS Certification in Music (K-12).
Strong background in string performance and pedagogical methods.
Ability to inspire and engage students in grades 9-12.
Master\'s Degree preferred, but not required
