Description
The position includes instruction in beginning and intermediate instrumental music, including woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings, as well as directing orchestra ensembles and preparing students for performances.
Requirements
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
● Experience teaching middle and/or high school instrumental music preferred.
● Experience directing instrumental ensembles or orchestra programs preferred.
● Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
● Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse musical backgrounds and skill levels.
● Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
