Description
The Oswego CSD seeks two dynamic Music Educators for K-6 General Music and Chorus. Ideal candidates will bring a genuine enthusiasm for teaching music to children, a willingness to learn, and a dedication to music teaching & learning. The General Music Classrooms feature musical smorgasbord of classroom instruments from ukuleles, boomwhackers, and recorders to world percussion and keyboards; the classrooms also have high quality digital pianos, SmartBoards for interactive digital learning, and a spacious carpeted environment ideal for movement with Wenger choral risers ready for rehearsals! Grade-level choruses (3rd-6th) rehearse weekly during the school day and perform two concerts per year: December and May. There is also a jr./kids musical production each year which is a true highlight of the program and something that the whole building and community looks forward to each year!
