Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher – Probationary

Position Available Contingent Upon Passage of the 2026-2027 Budget by the Voters Hicksville Public Schools seeks a qualified and energetic individual with a passion for elementary instrumental music. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in string pedagogy. Bilingual (Spanish), and previous work with special needs students is a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Daily string instruction at the elementary level, grades 3-5 Recruit for and prepare orchestral ensembles in grades 3-5 that include weekly rehearsals and multiple public performances each year.
