Anticipated Start Date: 1/20/26 The Guilderland Central School District is committed to seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to continue our tradition of excellence. We are now accepting applications to fill a full-time leave of absence for a middle school vocal music teacher. The position consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade general music classes. Knowledge of Music Learning Theory is a plus. We are looking for candidates who have; -Diverse backgrounds, educational interests, and experiences -Experience in teaching classroom instruments and vocal/ general music -Positive attitude and passion for teaching -An adaptable and coachable mindset -Enthusiasm for the well-being and progress of children -Strong musicianship, communication, and organizational skills -High levels of cultural proficiency and a desire to ensure that ALL students are included and successful -Strong interest in working collaboratively as part of a team -Music K-12 Certification **Please be sure your major and instrument concentration are clearly noted on your resume.
