Description
The Music Academy Foundation is a non-profit music school located in Garden City, NY. Our facility features new Yamaha pianos, large spacious rooms, all with windows, and is conveniently located near the Nassau Blvd train stop (LIRR). We are looking for a voice/piano teacher who will also serve as our staff accompanist. This is a full time position.
Requirements
All Applicants Must:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music
- Master's Preferred
- Be a proficient sight reader
- Be classically trained (jazz and contemporary training a plus)
- Be comfortable accompanying vocal students singing classical and musical theatre rep as well as playing at periodic musicals
