Description
The Delaware Academy Central School District at Delhi seeks a highly qualified candidate to fill the following: Position: Band Teacher (Long Term Substitute) Start Date: On or about May 3, 2024 to on or about June 28, 2024 Salary: As per DAFA contract, based on experience Qualifications: • Must hold appropriate New York State teacher certification in Music. Desired Characteristics, Responsibilities, and Duties: • 6th grade General Music • 4-5 band • 6-8 band • 9-12 band • General Duties: Include, but not limited to: Plans curriculum and instruction; Delivers effective instruction; Communicates clearly in writing and speaking; Manages classroom climate and operation; Promotes equity; Meets professional responsibilities. Reports to: Middle/High School Principal
Requirements
Must hold appropriate New York State teacher certification in Music.
