Teacher Information:

To find information on Nassau County festivals or which area a particular school is part of, please look at the file below or go to the NMEA (Nassau Music Educators Association) web site. You can do this by clicking on the link below. If you still need to contact me it is best to do so by email to the address above.

Parent Information:

Parents with NYSSMA problems or concerns should contact their child's school music teacher and/or music administrator prior to contacting me.  I have found that, in most cases, situations can be resolved within the school districts more quickly and effectively.  If you are unsuccessful resolving your issue or finding an answer to your question, then send an e-mail to me at the address above.

NYSSMA has published a Guide to Missing Information from the current edition of the Manual.  This Guide serves to help teachers to best advise their students when helping them to pick a solo for NYSSMA Adjudication.  Please remember that while NYSSMA will honor the current manual as printed, it would never be in the student's best interest for them to play a solo that is inappropriate for the level for which they are entered.  Teachers are encouraged to consult this guide to help them to steer their students toward choosing appropriate solos.  The Guide can be found at: http://nyssma.org/committees.cfm?subpage=1
