Collegiate MENC-NYSSMA
CMENC/NYSSMA

Thank you for stopping in! CMENC-NYSSMA (Collegiate MENC-NYSSMA) is the new name for NYSMEA (New York Student Music Educators Assocation). CMENC-NYSSMA is our collegiate connection to the National Association for Music Education MENC and the largest state organization of Music Educators in the country, the New York State School Music Association. Our collegiate Chapters in New York State make up about 1000 students from Upstate to Downstate, many other states in the U.S., and many countries in the world. Our members go on to be innovative, well-informed, and effective music educators in the field. Our members care about education, and about preserving quality "MUSIC" education for all students. By providing a support network for student music educators, we hope to help this transition period from "student to educator" be a smooth one, as well as, one of the most rewarding times in our young careers!

Our advisor is Dr. Richard Sang.
